Bracing & Casting

Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine uses the latest technologies to cast and brace patients in order to give them as much mobility as possible and eliminate many restrictions commonly thought of when you have a cast or brace.

We offer many of the latest bracing and casting technologies including:

Removable Casts

Exos technology is used for our patients with fractures in the arm, wrist or hand giving them a removable, adjustable, waterproof casting and bracing system. Often times a plaster cast is given to a patient in the emergency room or to stabilize the bones until healing has begun. After that, a removable cast is often the best option making the exos cast:

  • Waterproof
  • Custom fit
  • Adjustable, so that multiple casts are not needed
  • Lightweight
  • Many colors and patterns to choose from

And there’s no need to saw the cast off which often scares patients.

Bracing

SROSM is also pleased to introduce the OH2 Wrist Brace that allows range of motion while healing. Used by professional athletes and our patients, this brace gives side to side and up and down motion but will stop the motion before damage can be done to the area that is healing.
