Yuzef Yarrito, PT, DPT

Yuzef Yarrito received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2015 after completing his undergraduate education at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. Yuzef is a licensed Physical Therapist with an extensive background in exercise/sports science as well as return-to-sport rehabilitation. Beginning his career in his hometown of McAllen, Texas, Yuzef obtained specialized experience assisting all-level athletes return to their pre-injury state to achieve their personal or sport related goals. Being a lifelong athlete himself, Yuzef’s passion in helping overhead athletes only grows. This passion has led Yuzef to valuable experience with professional pitchers through offseason throwing programs. Yuzef believes in helping young, aspiring athletes as well. Not only has Yuzef worked with professional Strongmen, Triathletes and baseball players, but also middle school, high school, and collegiate athletes.

Professionally, he has obtained certifications in K-taping, advanced aquatic therapy rehab and completed numerous courses surrounding sports rehabilitation. Yuzef has been exposed to treating a variety of orthopedic pathologies and treatment techniques including but not limited to IASTM, Dry Needling, Aquatic Therapy and specialized Manual Therapy.

When he’s not in clinic, Yuzef enjoys staying active, participating in CrossFit, being outdoors with his dog, and spending time with his wife and growing family. Yuzef is a HUGE Seattle Seahawks fan, but stays true to his hometown Astros..
