Dr. Eduardo Chen is a Physiatrist board certified in both Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He treats patients with acute and chronic pain, with the goal of improving functionality and quality of life.
Dr. Chen completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University at Buffalo. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at Medical University of the Americas in Nevis. Subsequently, he completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/ Northwell Health in Long Island, NY. Expanding his skill set, he completed Pain Medicine Fellowship training at University of Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida.
Dr. Chen offers a comprehensive, multimodal, evidence-based medicine approach to pain management including physical therapy, medications, and procedures. Procedures include a wide range of image-guided spinal and peripheral nerve injections, joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulation, headache management, and regenerative medicine. Treatment options are specifically personalized to each patient in regards to their low back pain, neck pain, degenerative joint, and musculoskeletal pain.
Dr. Chen grew up in Upstate NY and is excited to move down to Houston, Texas where he’s heard the weather is much better. Outside of work he enjoys the outdoors, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
