Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Welcomes Dr. Eileen Wu
November 23, 2011The Woodlands, TX, November 1, 2001 – Fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon Eileen Wu, M.D. joined Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in The Woodlands, Texas this month. Dr. Wu graduated medical school from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed her orthopaedic surgery residency training at the University of Arizona Medical Center. She received sub-specialty training in sports medicine at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Wu is a very compassionate and talented orthopaedic surgeon. She specializes in sports medicine, adult reconstruction and other musculoskeletal disorders. She has also received training in complex adult and pediatric fractures. Dr. Wu has a special interest in the care of athletic injuries, including ACL tears and meniscal injuries, but also common ailments of the shoulder such as rotator cuff tears or tendinitis. She is also proficient in adult joint reconstruction of the shoulder and knee. She joins the practice with Dr. William Hayes and Dr. Keith Johnson.

Dr. Wu’s commitment to taking care of people is reflected throughout her life. She will be participating in a volunteer trip to Haiti this August. Besides her love of travel, Dr. Wu enjoys hiking and watching movies and musicals. She resides in The Woodlands, Texas.
